About this disclosure
This page summarises the principal risks of holding EURY, PLNY or USDY, e-money tokens issued by Olbra ApS under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA). The complete risk disclosure for each token is Part F of its whitepaper. See EMT holder & redemption rights.
Issuer risk
An e-money token is a claim on its issuer. Reserve assets are held at credit institutions, segregated from the issuer's own funds, and safeguarded under the supervision of the Danish FSA, but the value of your claim ultimately depends on the issuer meeting its obligations. In an issuer insolvency, safeguarding and segregation rules are designed to protect holders' funds; recovery may nevertheless take time.
No deposit-guarantee coverage
E-money tokens are not bank deposits. They are not covered by the Danish Guarantee Fund or any other deposit-guarantee scheme. Protection comes from MiCA's full-reserve, segregation and redemption rules, not from deposit insurance.
Technology & network risk
The tokens exist on public blockchain networks. Holding and transferring them carries technology risks: loss of private keys is typically irreversible, transactions cannot be recalled once confirmed, and smart-contract or network-level failures, congestion or forks can delay or disrupt transfers. Self-custody places the security of your wallet entirely with you.
Regulatory & market risk
The regulatory treatment of crypto-assets continues to evolve in the EU and elsewhere; future changes may affect how the tokens can be held, transferred or used in particular jurisdictions.
On secondary markets (exchanges, DeFi venues) the trading price of a token can deviate from par and liquidity can vary. Your redemption right at par exists against the issuer; it does not guarantee the price offered by any third-party venue.
No interest, no advice
E-money tokens bear no interest (MiCA Article 50). Nothing on this website is investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer of securities. If you are unsure whether e-money tokens are appropriate for you, seek independent advice.
