What Olbra issues, what we are building on top, and the regulatory facts underneath, with a link to check each one.
What Olbra is.
Olbra ApS is an electronic money institution in Copenhagen, authorised by Finanstilsynet, the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. We issue e‑money tokens (EMTs) under MiCA, the EU regulation for crypto‑assets: the euro (EURY), the Polish złoty (PLNY) and the US dollar (USDY). Each is backed one‑for‑one by reserve assets and can be redeemed with us at par.
EURY is in issue. PLNY and USDY are deployed on Ethereum, with none issued yet. On top of the tokens we are building the Olbra app, a card, and products for earning, borrowing and holding tokenised assets. These are not generally available yet. You can join the early‑access list.
Our authorisation lets us issue e‑money tokens in further currencies. For each new token we must first notify a whitepaper to Finanstilsynet (MiCA Article 51). We started with the euro, the złoty and the dollar.
Three currencies, one set of rules.
| Token | Currency | Status | Network | Contract | Whitepaper |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EURY | Euro | In issue | Ethereum | 0x96Ec…8fF2 | |
| PLNY | Polish złoty | Deployed | Ethereum | 0x31A7…3B47 | |
| USDY | US dollar | Deployed | Ethereum | 0xf25c…5b7f |
Each token is an e‑money token under MiCA. Reserve assets at least equal to the tokens in circulation are safeguarded: kept apart from our own funds, with banks and custodians, in the low‑risk assets the rules allow. You can redeem at par at any time, free of charge, and the tokens pay no interest (MiCA Articles 49 and 50).
“In issue” means tokens exist and people hold them. “Deployed” means the contract is on Ethereum mainnet and source‑verified, but no tokens have been issued; PLNY and USDY have a supply of zero, which you can check through the contract links above. Each token has a MiCA whitepaper, notified to Finanstilsynet. MiCA does not ask the regulator to approve an e‑money token whitepaper. For what you are owed as a holder, read holder rights.
The products on top of the tokens.
Stablecoins
EURY, PLNY and USDY, described above. EURY is in issue; PLNY and USDY are deployed. Everything below is designed around them.
Tokenised assets
Forthcoming. Money‑market products, government bonds, gold and silver as tokens. These will be investment products, separate from e‑money: their value can go down as well as up, and redemption at par does not apply. Each will come with its own legal documentation before it launches.
Credit
Forthcoming. Borrowing against what you hold, without selling it, through Morpho, a third‑party lending protocol on a public blockchain. If the value of what you pledged falls far enough, it is sold to close the loan.
The card
Forthcoming. A card that spends from the balances you hold in the app, where available. Card fees will be shown at the point of use.
The Olbra app
Forthcoming, with an early‑access list open. A non‑custodial app: your key stays on your device, and we cannot move your money. Its Earn feature deposits into third‑party lending vaults at a variable rate; it is not a deposit, and you can lose money. The app terms set out each feature and fee.
How the tokens are secured.
All three tokens are deployed on Ethereum mainnet, at the contract addresses in the table above. Their source code is verified on Etherscan, which means the published code matches the code running on the chain. The tokens are not deployed on any other network.
The reserves are held off‑chain, apart from our own funds, with banks and custodians, under safeguarding rules that Finanstilsynet supervises. You can check the supply of each token on‑chain at any time. We do not yet publish reserve reports on this site.
The rules add protections of their own. As an e‑money institution we must hold minimum own funds, our management must pass fit‑and‑proper tests, our accounts are audited, and Finanstilsynet can inspect us. Read what you are owed as a holder.
The issuer, and where to check it.

- Supervisor's register
- Our entry in Finanstilsynet's company register, listed as an electronic money institution under our former name, Eurodollar ApS.

MiCA sets the rules for every e‑money token: the issuer must be authorised and on a public register, reserves must match the tokens in circulation and be kept apart, each token needs a notified whitepaper, and the issuer is supervised on an ongoing basis.
The registers above are the primary sources. For how this works for you as a holder, read your rights as a holder, the risk disclosure and the whitepaper for each token.
